To start, the hotel shares the reception with a neighbor hotel named Violino, they have the same owner. This means there may not be someone on the front desk of the hotel, but he will be close if you need to. That meant no problem to me.
The staff was incredible, they gave us lots of information about the area and were very gentle.
The hotel is very well located, close to San Marco Square and from the vaporetto station (the best way to get by if you arrive with luggages from the Santa Lucia Station) and the installations are fine.
The room is long but straight. There's not a lot of space. The room was clear, though the walls were not. There are no electrical outlets close to the bedroom (actually, there was one close to our feet, but it was not working). The installations of the bedroom were an inssue: I had problems with the noise that the climatizer was making the whole night, the bed was also noisy and the heater was not working on the bathroom. The bathroom, by the way, was very, very good. Spacious and very functional.
The breakfast, as the reception, is shared with the Violino hotel. The food was really good.
Despite the noise and the dirty walls, I had a good time in Anastasia Hotel.
