I would avoid staying here in hot/warm days, they turn the air conditioning in the weakest level (around 25ºC, which isn't comfortable to sleep). Although there was AC controls in the rooms, the room control is completely useless as the central one is configured to the weaker level.
If was just that, i would give a 2-3 rating for this hotel, the problem is that can get worse. They just shutdown the main AC in one of the nights, then me and my wife (which is pregnant) could sleep only around 3 hours during the night, as a result we couldn't go the Vaticano that day as we were so tired, so we lost one day of our tour.
The other thing is the creepy elevator that reminds Tower of Terror from Disney Hollywood Studios, probably it has around 50 years old or more (I'm not kidding) and it can handle only 200kg (I'm not kidding as well). So even that you aren't a heavy couple and have luggages, your must split into many trips. If there are other guests, oh boy, you have to wait a lot, as is just one elevator that can handle 200kg and requires manual close of two doors, if someone forgets to close the doors, the elevator get stuck and you have to yell. Ah, and you have to take the elevator, as in the building there are many hotels, not just this one, so you have to take a the elevator as the reception is in the last floor (4th) and all rooms are on this level.
Location is the good point, bed is comfortable, wifi is reasonable, breakfast is reasonable. The really NO go is the AC.
