The hotel facilities are fine and so is the breakfast, but we had a very unpleasant stay because, at first, the room assigned to us had a strong smell (some chemical/cleaning product) that irritated our nostrils. Therefore, the man that "welcomed" us, that seemed to be the manager or something like that, gave us another room, one floor above (the hotel has no elevator) and without carpet, that did not have the smell. Then, we went to the hotel's restaurant and when we checked the bill, we noticed that the meal we ordered was charged more than the price shown in the menu. When we told it to the supposed manager he insisted that it was right, so we showed him the menu with the price we had seen and he said that all the menus in English did not have the prices of the meals updated and threw them in the garbage aggressively in front of us??!!! Moreover, he said that it was our fault, because if we could speak German there would be no problem, and started bragging that he went to Italy and did not need translation for the menus?!!! He and almost every soul in this planet, because Italian cuisine is worldwide popular! We have to point it out that we did not asked for the English menu, he gave us it!
The rudeness and stupidity (because it is completely insane for a service provider to even think of treating a customer like that) was so profound that we were astonished and felt very bad. Surely not recommended!
