The service was very good, the person at the counter was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and had many options for guests to enjoy. The bread was delicious! However, we had to book 2 rooms for a family of 5 and it was pricy for the quality of the rooms. The rooms were smelly, especially the warm water smelled strongly of sulfur (but not so in the other hotels we stayed), the wallpaper was peeling of the walls and the room just didn't give a clean, updated look. It was definitely an older hotel. The beds were very hard, each bed had only one pillow that was very flat. In general the beds were uncomfortable. No fridge or microware was provided in the room. Even though this hotel was cheaper than the other hotels we stayed at in Iceland, I would not book with them again.
