Review for Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport

This was my first trip to Dublin, and unfortunately, my experience at the Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport was disappointing from start to finish.
I booked a Deluxe Room, expecting at least a comfortable and well-equipped stay. However, after experiencing the lack of amenities firsthand and later reviewing the hotel’s room descriptions, I realized that if you want basic necessities like toiletries, air conditioning, bottled water, and even a wake-up call, you have to pay extra for an Executive Room—which only added to my disgust with this hotel.
I paid €600 for my stay and was not even allowed a wake-up call or a bottle of water.
I also paid $30 for early check-in at 12 PM, but by 12:15, I still had no confirmation that my room was ready. The front desk staff showed no urgency or empathy in helping me get my room sooner, despite the additional fee.
Once I finally got to my room, I was initially pleased with the spaciousness and appearance. However, that changed quickly. The room only had a heater—no air conditioning. There were no washcloths, just hand towels and bath towels. Basic toiletries were limited to body wash, a combined shampoo/conditioner, and liquid soap on the sink. There was no bottled water, no coffee maker, and no mini-fridge—just the bare minimum.
