For the high price of this hotel, you’d expect to walk into a neat foyer, but instead it is filled with equipment and the chairs bunched together. As a business owner, it is easy to organize it accordingly to be more welcoming and that’s just my immediate impression. I realize the hurricane caused damage, sadly, but it is still in your best interests to save your brand and make your so called 4 star hotel give that impression. I’d also check the premises for debris, as an empty drink was left outside last night and it was still there upon check out today. The employees facing should always put on a customer friendly face. Instead, argumentative when simply asked where the ice machine was and 3 staff members sitting around full of excuses. The best one being “I told you upon check in where ice machines were.” Fine if you think so, but it is t hard to say simply, “Ice is located….” (no signage). Absolutely no room cleaning service on a 3 night stay, so we had to ask for coffee, towels, toilet paper, trash pick up. The sarcasm of the female saying “Doesn’t your phone work?”(note, NO phones in room!) was ridiculous considering she wasn’t being troubled to actually work besides handing over the few necessities versus delivering them. The rooms are in poor condition with a broken sink and other lack of maintenance that shows the need for a strong management to revamp what should be a fine hotel. We certainly made the wrong choice in an area full of much nicer hotels. Also, be caref
