I walked into my room and turned the lights on and only 1 overhead light was working, I went to open the room darkening curtains the rest of the way and neither side would move because they were broken at the top, the room also had a terrible odor. I went back to the desk and asked for another room, the curtain to be fixed and odor gone or cancel my reservation. The man at the desk spoke to the maintenance manager and he came and stapled the curtain shut and sprayed the room. Even though it was time for the maintenance manager to leave he made an attempt to fix the issues. The smell did not go away but I spayed some air freshener and was only in there at night. The guest in the room next door had a dog that would bark early in the morning; 5:30. Hopefully the room has been throughly clean and repaired for the next guest.
