Room spacial and quiet. Staff was extremely helpful. Within walking distance it’s only gas station convenience store which was fine with me.

First impressions of the outside of building were very worrying as it was run down and dirty looking. The manager was very friendly and helpful. He’s doing a good job looking after tourist . He booked us a taxi for check out day as our phone wasn’t working after we had brought credit. He made suggestions of places to visit and to eat. We went downtown for tea and taxi driver on return to hotel gave really bad review of hotel, so much were we a little scared. He told us to get out as hard to get taxis to this hotel as area was not desirable. We stayed in our room once we got home and didn’t leave. The cleaning was not thorough as old soap left In shower. My White Sox’s black after walking on floors inside.. it looks good online Fresh paint no air conditioning, had fan, fridge and microwave I would not stay here again. Is very budget hotel if money issue then stay here otherwise look elsewhere.

Worst place for the price they charge

I was scared to stay there. The building looked like it was falling apart. I had to carry my heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs

The property is nothing like the photos, it’s very run down. The proprietor is lovely however. The Wi-Fi is poor as are the supplies in the room.

The pictures on the travel websites where not what the property looked like, no chairs in the lobby, had to wait for the owner to arrive, as he is the only one who does check ins, the bed was a fold up cheap matress, only tv channels were what were "air" channels. The property hosts low income extended stays for most of the back rooms, and the "better" rooms are upstairs at the front of the property. Was on a budget, and the pictures from the search engine looked completely different than what the property looks like. For $150/night, I would find another place to stay, even if its a little further to take Uber or in a close town.

Disgusting!!!

If I could give this hotel a rating of "minus 10", I would. It was the dirtiest/smelliest place I have ever stayed. The bed was made with 1 fitted sheet and 1 top sheet only. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom....no bathmat and no hand towels or face towels. If we could have left, we would have but there was nowhere else to go. Listing says that there is a city view but what you are looking out to is a body shop for cars. Also the cost of this hotel is way over priced. We stayed at a different hotel, which was a lot nicer, better area of town and the room was great. Lots of towels, bed was made properly and there was even a breakfast included...and all at a cheaper price. Do yourself a favour and don't stay here.

The desk manager was very nice, but the room was not clean, hair on tub and sink, mug on top of microwave was dirty. The quilt covering for the bed was folded and sitting on the pillows, making me wonder if the bedding had been changed or not. We were exhausted otherwise we would have went elsewhere. The price of the room was reasonable compared to the larger hotels.

Don’t even consider this place. When we reached this place, we kept on driving. Horrible looking place in a nasty, unsafe looking area of the city. This could possibly be the worst place in Anchorage. It was worth our health and safety to lose our money and stay elsewhere.

Checked in and there was only 1 towel for 2 people...no soap or shampoo. Within 15 minutes ofncheckin at 2am, the clerk was gone and at 9am, nobody was there. It was cold and felt dungy although room was clean.
