I stayed at the super 8 recently and had a generally decent experience, but I wanted to share a few issues that impacted my stay.
First, I brought my dog along, and while we were there, I received a complaint about his barking. However, it wasn’t due to him being unruly—he was reacting to the noise from the room next door. The couple in the adjacent room seemed to be quite loud throughout the night, and their noise—particularly around midnight—was disruptive enough that my dog began to bark. While I understand the need to maintain a quiet atmosphere, I think it’s important for the hotel to acknowledge that external noise can sometimes be a bigger factor than expected.
Additionally, I was disturbed by the sounds of running and stomping from the hallway and room above us at all hours of the night. It made it hard to sleep and contributed to an overall lack of rest during my stay.
Overall, the staff was courteous, and the room itself was ok, but these noise disturbances significantly affected my experience. I would recommend the hotel to others, but I’d advise being mindful of potential noise disruptions, especially if you’re a light sleeper.
