I was supposed to stay here all week. On arrival (5 o'clock) theu told me that my room which was supposed to be ready by 3 wasn't and that they would temporarily for 1 day put me in another room.I req' to remain in one room throughout my stay. They then put me in a room to call me 2 hours lateramd say i would have to mive because it was for access to disabled folk, i agreed as i felt i didn't have much choice. The front desk guy then shows me several rooms, i choose one and then say, i will have to move my things tomorrow evening when im back from work. I request specifically for no one to go into my room on the evening and to the so called owner in the morning. This request was made several times. I come back late afternoon to find my room has been serviced, £40 is missing from my desk and the owner that is a typical insecure guy that has to get his own way has reneged on the offer given by front desk and is now offering a different room entirely. Needless to say i was fuming, called the police to log the incident, Hotels.com found me a different hotel and covered the extra cost (Hotels.com were quite excellent in dealing with) and i left, with the very unprofessional owner bringing a thug with him to escort me off the premises. Never in my life have i ever experienced such a disgusting level of service. To add to this, hardly anyone speaks fluent English, cleaners dont seem trustworthy and the levels of cleanliness were not great with dust on surfaces and hair in the shower
