Like most places, it's a little hard to find at first but once you know where it is, it's easy. It's about a 15-20 minute walk along one of the main streets from the Train Station.
There is NO RECEPTION DESK here and you'd have to do your Check In online, which we were not able to complete as we were mid-travel. We had to check in at another location, a fair distance when dragging luggage, and of course, we had to find that place too. If you can complete the Online Check In and pay the required City Tax, you'll be given a Code to enter the building and your room. That would have worked quite well except, again, we were in mid travel and had to store our luggage on day of Arrival anyway and we had to go to the other Hotel to do so, and they were VERY NICE to us.
It's not a big place and no elevator, which we managed but please keep that in mind.
It was enough for our needs, indeed, and liked our stay. The room we had was a little small, bathroom was fine, we certainly enjoyed our time in Venice as it wasn't all about the hotel.
We had a basic room, it had a fridge, a 2-3 Star stay, which is what we knew we were getting when we booked.
I hope that helps.
