This is the second time we’ve stayed while in town visiting friends and family. We’ve stayed here because the location is great and the price is right. We have two boys, ages 12 and 15, and booked the two-bedroom suite to give everyone their own space. Unfortunately when we arrived and got up to our room, it was the wrong room. They had assigned a regular room with two queen beds. So we hauled all our stuff back downstairs. Eventually we were placed in the correct room after the housekeepers cleaned it. This mix-up made us late for our dinner plans with friends. And the room wasn’t completely clean. After three nights, I discovered a pair of men’s red Wrangler underpants, inside out, right in the space between the headboard and mattress. (They were not my husband’s.) There was spoiled, expired milk in the fridge at breakfast. The waffle makers are great; my kids enjoyed having waffles in the morning. Our kitchenette had no silverware. The handicap-accessible shower was less than pleasant. We were only given three bath towels for four people but were able to go get more. The exercise room is sad. There’s a treadmill, an elliptical and a recumbent bike. There are no free weights or room to mow in there anyway. We were on the second floor and it was very loud, around the clock. You can hear the door at the top of the stairs constantly opening and slamming shut, kids running down the hallways, upstairs, downstairs, everywhere. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything.
