My stay at The Reef was merely okay, but the cost was far too high for the level of service provided. The service was very poor and fell far short of the 4 or 5-star experience I have come to expect from hotels of this caliber.
The most unpleasant part of my stay was the check-out process. I was charged $250 for a no-show at one of the property's restaurants, despite having canceled the reservation with guest services in advance. The attendant at the concierge desk was extremely unfriendly and insisted that I had not canceled, as if I were lying. They also prevented me from speaking to a manager, stating that one was not available.
There are many other good hotels in Nassau that likely offer better service and more well-trained staff. I would recommend considering these alternatives for a more pleasant and value-for-money experience.
