What a find in the beautiful little island of Antigua! Our all-adult family of 4 enjoyed all the Verandah had to offer on their off season mid-July. Value of this resort is great- offering everything an all-inclusive should!
Huge rooms we comfortably fit in. Full size toiletries. Every room has a massive balcony overlooking the bay. There are carts to drive you around if you don’t want to walk around the hilly property. We got around fine after figuring out the lay of the land, but def be prepared for steeper inclines at times.
Dining options were limited but good. Made to order pizza. Bar food till late. The dinner buffet was closed most nights of our stay because occupancy was low. We still ate at Sails & Tales & Portofino by making reservations at guest services. If buffet was open every night, which i’m sure it is on busier weeks, there would be no problem with food.
The beaches are located on the bay which is shallow, but there are floating pools you can lounge in. Visiting Pineapple beach, a sister resort incl w this, & 2 min cart ride away, gives you a more beach feel, as it’s located on the Atlantic Ocean & opportunities to swim & snorkel. Pools are all great!
Shout out to Kertie the bartender, Cassie-Ann our morning barista at Cafe 1761, & Marina for making us the best omelets w a smile every morning! Activities were organized most days, thanks Latifah.
Friendly people, relaxed vibes. All around good times!! No reason not to visit Antigua & stay here :)
