We were greeted warmly and given coffee upon arrival. The rooms are well equipped with private bath, kitchenette, and wardrobe. The rooms are bright and airy. Our room had a corner balcony that had views of the church and Mt Vesuvius. We were able to easily walk to the archaeological park; there are restaurants, bars, shops, and the church square on the way. Most of the shops aren’t fancy but you could get anything you could possibly need, from a bottle of wine to sunblock to paint brushes.
My favorite part of the hotel is the garden. We loved the pool - not deep but very enjoyable and refreshing, with lounge chairs and hammocks around the garden. It felt like a secret, tucked-away garden.
You have to walk down a little street that feels like an alley to get to the hotel, but we liked that because it felt close to but also separate from the bustling town. We would definitely stay there again!
