Nice place. The clean room was surprisingly larger than expected, and updated with a modern feel. Meghan, who may run the joint, is pleasant and helpful, and is fond of texting. Price is reasonable. Takes an engineering degree to figure out how to operate the quirky shower set-up (I kid), but not too hard. A nice restaurant, The Monkey Bar, a very short walk. Others on my softball team recommended, thus I didn’t pour through any reviews as I always do. I was unaware the Dolphin had an on-site bar (shockingly large) out back with a live band some nights. When checked in around 5P, where the room was (facing the bar) the pounding sound from the band was very loud. Upon returning from dinner about 8P the music was still blaring. Was worried it would go on until 2A. Was extremely tired from playing ball and quickly fell asleep. The next day Meghan said it plays until 11P Friday and Saturday. Those super sensitive to sound (as I typically am) may want to consider a different motel, or make sure to get a room that faces the roads.
