Good stay overall. On arrival I paid the requested deposit of Eur 50 - and enquired about the breakfast charge, which was Eur 25. I told the receptionist, make sure I am on the breakfast list in the morning. Take the Eur 25 from my "deposit". Come morning time, refreshed and looking smart I present myself at the door of the 2nd floor restaurant. No... I am not on the list. Haven't paid. Which is always embarrassing in front of the small queue behind me. So, off I go back to reception. "the system is down.. blah blah" .. but I have paid I said. Take the money from my room deposit. Telephone call made to the restaurant and I was allowed in. The breakfast buffet is very good. Checked out, can I have the refund of my deposit? No... it's the system. Might take a week etc... Can I have a receipt for my room? Showing the transactions? No. The system is down. Annoying. Was told I would get an email with the receipt later in the day. Nothing turned up. Telephoned the hotel the next day, questioned why I takes so long to refund me? And... oh look, 20 mins later... my refund arrived in my account. As of now, still no email with my receipt. But, overall a lovely hotel. Great location for the view and a nice room on the 6th floor.
