I would not say I was very impressed by this hotel. It had no parking in the building, tho they offered a parking tag that let you use nearby public parking. There's two long sets of stairs from either entrance into the hotel, and no elevator or luggage elevator. This means you get to drag ALL your heavy things up stairs, both in and out. It also means this hotel is not accessible for people with disabilities. I only had to deal with the former, but it did suck. This was a very large mark down for me. The hotel looks very dated, and the staff seemed bored. In general, I would say it's worth it's price.
However, let me end by praising a few things...
The room was lovely and very comfortable, and had a big closet to use. Despite its aged look, there is a charm to the place I appreciated, and they offer a nice water machine in the lobby. Finally it's very conveniently located in the middle of Glendale next to all kinds of great restaurants, movie places, shopping, the Galleria, and the Americana, all just a short walk away. It makes up it's value in the little inconveniences with the price and a fantastic location that cannot be beat.
