The hotel is well located, close to most of the sights in Athens and to a subway station. However, this is also a problem, because, being in a central area, the premises are crowded with people, cars and loud sounds and the room does not have a good sound proofing window, hence I heard everything that was happening outside. For a 2 days trip it’s ok, but I stayed for 5 nights, so I had 5 nights of bad sleep.
The staff is very kind and friendly and the access to the hotel is good, right out one of the subway exit. But it has only two small elevators, so you have to wait a long time to go up if you can’t use the stairs or have large luggage with you.
The room is big and has a good bed, but the so called view of the acropolis has nothing to do with the picture on the website. Unfortunately it seems that the picture was taken on the roof, with much better view than the one on the room. The bed is positioned close to the window, so the noise problem is intensified.
Also, and the internet was slow with a poor range Wi-Fi.
It was promised a bottle of complimentary wine, but I received a “wine like” bottle of something that has wine, but it is not wine (literally “aromatize wine-product cocktail”).
