I really wanted to like the Cobblestone. BUT the check in process was long with confusion between myself and another occupant for staff. The front desk was manned by a trainee with no support. He was nice, just not ready to be on his own. After 15 minutes a second person came and assisted with check in. By this point there were 8 more people lined up to check in.
The room was very large and spacious. The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom had no hand soap. The refrigerator was dirty, the microwave buttons did not work. There was no do not disturb door hanger, but were told to take one from another door, seriously this was suggested by staff.
The exercise room has no towels, no sanitizer or wipes for used equipment, and no ventilation fan or air circulation. This is unacceptable given the virus issue just a few years ago.
The morning breakfast is just ok, but watching a staff member checking the food after I watched them cleaning the hallway and not washing their hands was pretty disgusting.
This is a very nice property but the staff needs training and the hotel manager needs to evaluate every aspect of the hotel. The issues here are so obvious, but it appears no one is holding people to a high standard.
