We stayed 2 nights. Within Is walking distance to all the shops restaurants and
Bars. And no, there's nobody at the front desk to check you in.Everything is done through email instructions & download a app called Direct Key app to access your room and unlock it when you come in/ when you go. Some people found this as a hassle, we on the other hand had no issues with it and it was really nice coming and going as we please and not Feeling like someone was watching us. Yes, the water in the shower was a little temperamental but you're staying in a historic building. So some people need to not be so snobbish about that and enjoy the building you're staying at. Our room was very comfortable. The only thing is you cannot control the air conditioning in your room but an area upstairs that they stashed some fans and it was definitely a necessity for a better air flow, we stayed comfortable most of the time. Again , the only thing that was annoying is that our room and you could hear people slamming the door All day coming inside while you're trying to take a nap... But again it's a historical thing and You do have to give the door a good shove when you're trying to close it. I thought the grounds were very well.Kept and they had beautiful flowers and bloom. We enjoyed visiting with all the cats that were wandering around the grounds. Everyone seemed to keep to themselves, so we had plenty of privacy. If you are needy & need to be catered to every 5 sec , this is not the place for u.
