I genuinely appreciate that the folks are trying to save this old hotel, but the facilities are just so dated and obsolete that it’s a labor of love at this point as opposed to a 3 or 4 star hotel. The prices within the on-site restaurant, “Rodney’s”, are absolutely absurd for the level and quality of the food, and for that area. I paid less for a formal filet mignon dinner at the Hyatt in the Dallas, TX Airport than I did for a lobster roll sandwich at Rodney’s? I wish them the very best, but for the price, I will likely go back to staying at the Hampton Inn. A hotel really needs elevator banks and key cards in this day and age. For these prices, patrons shouldn’t have to be dragging luggage up and down 3 stories of stairs, with old 1980’s room keys.
