From the moment I arrived there were problems and no one on the staff seemed to care. They put me in the wrong room, told me I was wrong when I told them it was the wrong room, then knocked on the door 5 minutes later & said I was right, then proceeded to downgrade me to a room that had a great view but nothing else. If you are over 250 lbs, prepare to not fit in the shower. The toilet also stopped working within the 1st hour, causing my wife and I to be late to our honeymoon dinner. They also claim they have room service, yet when we called for it they simply told us no even though it said it was open. It seems as if the hotel wants to price gouge it's customers for everything. I asked for an iron and they told me I'd have to use their laundry services just to press a shirt. And because it's the day of, they would have to charge an emergency ironing fee. What hotel doesn't provide an iron. A Hampton inn provides an iron but a 4* doesn't? Also, we chose this hotel over another because of the pool pics. Well the pool is about a 3rd of as big as it looks in the pics. Also, we are in beautiful Sorrento and they close the pool at 7pm in the summer, even though it doesn't get dark until 9pm, causing us unable to go in. On top of this, I expressed these concerns within the first two hours of being there & basically got told sorry not sorry. The staff doesn't seem to care. This was my honeymoon and I paid a ridiculous price for it to be ruined at a sub par hotel with a nice view.
