I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, SpringHill Suites by Marriott® Charlotte Airport, located at 3055 Scott Futrell Drive, Charlotte, NC. I checked in at 10:17 AM on July 27, 2024 and checked out at 4:57 PM the next day due to an extended layover.
Upon arrival, the desk clerk and the shuttle driver were personable, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. However, my experience quickly deteriorated upon reaching room 419. The room conditions were appalling and unacceptable for any guest, let alone for someone celebrating their 23rd anniversary with family.
Here are the specific issues I encountered:
Room Cleanliness:
There were numerous dried blood stains on the dirty carpet.
The green pull-out bed was soiled and the room had a terrible, unpleasant odor.
The bed linens were soiled, and I had to request clean sheets from the front desk.
The A/C unit was loud
The Elevator - was dirty
Overall Experience:
The poor condition of the room significantly marred our anniversary celebration and caused great discomfort for our two children.
Given these issues, I feel that my stay was not only disappointing but also posed health risks to my family. I request a full refund for the inconvenience and substandard service. Additionally, I hope that you will address these issues promptly to ensure other guests do not face similar experiences.
