The room was exactly as you might imagine for student accommodation in that there was a bathroom, bed, desk and kitchen area. The kitchen had a large fridge with small freezer compartment and there was a microwave and oven top. There were some utensils in the cupboards too. There is a Mercadona about 5-10minutes walk away and a bakery and cafe about five minutes away too. There is a bus stop immediately outside the accommodation. The walk into town takes around 40 minutes and it is very hilly, especially on the way back. Some parts of Santander now have escalators helping you up the hills. There is no soap in the rooms which seems strange, especially in current times. There is a cafe on the ground floor, but I don't know what type of food they sell as the QR codes on the back of the room's door were all expired. WiFi worked well in rooms and for a single bed, it was much wider than the norm so that was good.
