I recently stayed at Hotel Malar in Paris and found the experience to be largely positive, distinguished by its comfort, hospitality, and location. Situated in a prestigious neighborhood, the hotel offers a blend of safety and elegance. Though not directly next to metro or RER stations, a short walk will connect you to public transport.
The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming. They went above and beyond by receiving an Amazon package for me and allowed me to store my luggage post-checkout until my evening flight. These touches significantly added to my convenience during the stay.
My room was on the third floor, accessible only by a narrow staircase, something to consider if you have heavy luggage. However, the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, as was the bathroom. The street was quiet, offering a peaceful retreat in a bustling city.
In summary, Hotel Malar has a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of an elevator and somewhat distant public transport, but these are easily overshadowed by its many positives. The comfort, quiet atmosphere, and exceptional staff make it a great choice for anyone visiting Paris. Highly recommended.
