Prático para uma boa pernoite
Hotel cercado de montanhas com neve! Vista magnífica. Serviços básicos são oferecidos como internet e café da manhã. O centro pitoresco de Lone Pine fica à apenas algumas milhas ao norte. Ótimo hotel para uma pernoite caso você esteja em transito nessa região.

Hotel confortável e bom para curta estadia
Um bom hotel para curtas estadias, limpo, organizado e confortável. Paramos neste hotel por uma noite no caminho para Las Vegas e realmente valeu a pena. Inclui café da manhã e internet wi-fi gratuitos a bom preço de estadia. Cidade pequena mas muito agradável, estilo típico de interior americano.

Gutes Motel
Waren zum wiederholten Male zum Zwischenstopp in diesem Hotel. Zimmer waren sauber und war alles ok. Frühstück spärlich aber ist halt kontinentales Frühstück. Frühstücksraum sehr klein.

A Comfortable Surprise
Not our first choice in Lone Pine, but our usual hotel was full, no doubt because of the film festival. However we were very agreeably surprised as we had had bad experiences of the Comfort/Quality Inn hotels in the past. However, this changed the record and we may use it again should we need to stay in Lone Pine in the future.

Funktionales Hotel für die Durchreise
Wir waren zu zweit auf einer Motorrad-Tour durch Kalifornien für eine Nacht im Comfort Inn Lone Pine. Bei der Planung schien uns der Ort nach der Fahrt von Las Vegas (nach dem Death Valley) richtig für einen Zwischenstopp.

Bel hôtel à l'entrée du Death Valley
Hôtel dans un bel emplacement, vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Chambre très propre, balcon (mais il faut le demander lors de la réservation), piscine, jacuzzi, petit déjeuner inclus et très bon! Personnel super courtois, ils nous ont même fait la réservation pour le Resto! Tranquille, 5 min en auto de la ville. Je le conseille!

Gut, bis sehr gut eingerichtete Zimmer. Die Klimaanlage per Raum ist etwas laut, kann aber getrost über Nacht ausgeschaltet werden, wenn man im Vorfeld wärend eines Pool besuchs den Raum kühlt. Zimmer zur Strasse sollten bei Lärmempfindlichkeit gemieden werden.

Hotel perfetto prima della Death Valley!!
Camera ampia e pulita. Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina per mancanza di tempo. Buona la colazione. Personale molto gentile e disponbile. Parcheggio comodo di fronte all'hotel. Posizione perfetta prima di visitare la Death Valley. Macchina del ghiaccio e caffè americano pronto sempre disponibili al piano terra (come in molti motel americani) e molto apprezzato. Buona la connessione Wi-fi. Hotel un po' caro però rispetto alla media degli altri hotel del nostro tour USA on the road.

Gut für eine einzelne Übernachtung
Das Hotel liegt praktisch "am Eingang" zum Death Valley. Wir waren zum zweiten mal in Lone Pine, und zum ersten mal in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind ganz o.k. - recht klein, aber sauber. Das Waschbecken befand sich im Zimmer, im Bad waren nur eine Toilette sowie eine Wanne mit Duschvorhang, jedoch auf so engem Raum, dass man fast Platzangst bekam. Neben dem Außenpool befindet sich eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Das Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch. Gestört hat uns, dass der O-Saft verdorben war, weil die Kühlung vom Spender defekt war - der Saft hatte die Temperatur des Kaffees und schmeckte bereits wie Essig. Die Servicekraft hatte dies wohl schon bemerkt und fragte jeden Gast höflich, ob er Eiswürfel in den Saft möchte :-/ Zu empfehlen ist übrigens das Totemcafe an der Hauptstrasse im Ort - die Steaks sind ausgezeichnet!

Lone Pine vacation
My wife and I needed somewhere to stay after leaving Mammoth. We went to the film museum (highly recommend). The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was wonderful: eggs, sausage, yogurt, waffles, fruit, coffee. Highly recommend this motel if you need a place to stay in Lone Pine. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. They set their TVs to a certain volume level so as not to disturb guest in next room. The breakfast lady was like a professional waitress.

pet-friendly, clean, all the conveniences
One of the nicest Comfort Inns I've ever stayed in. They cater to the Mt. Whitney hikers, so there's a fridge and microwave in each room. We had a pet-friendly room, so there was a heavier scent of deodorizer than the normal rooms probably have, but hey, that's what you expect in a pet room. The nice thing is that each pet room has a back door that opens up onto a patio and grassy area. Friendly staff--Owens Valley was in the middle of a 10 year-beetle infestation, so there were hundreds of tiny dead bugs everywhere, but the staff did a good job of keeping up with cleaning them. Decent complimentary breakfast, the usual--waffle maker, toast, yogurt--but also sausage and egg patties. It's on the outskirts of town, but right across from the National Park Visitors Center. And only a 2-minute drive into town anyway.

Bugs Everywhere
Total bug infestation made for a terrible night. Staff sympathetic but unable to deal with bugs. And lots of hair left on shower wall from a previous guest made the bathroom, along with the many bugs, especially nasty.

Ok as a stopover
We stayed for one night whilst driving from Las Vegas to Yosemite as its about half way and after Death Valley. The rooms are pretty standard with a noisy air conditioning unit which seems common in hotels of this type. Otherwise, all was good with a friendly staff.
