Expected more from this "Classy Resort"
We checked in on a Friday and checked out on Sunday. Just a weekend trip for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in room 101 (Corner Vista).
When we arrived at the room there was still garbage next to our door from the previous guests. When we entered the door, it was stuck and had the shove it open. Obviously old. You could see the scrape marks on the door plate where it was rubbing. Been this way for awhile by the looks. The room was clean however the pillows on the day couch were badly worn and had feathers occasionally coming out of them. The first night we tried to turn on the fireplace but it didn't work. Called front desk and let them know about the garbage and they said they would send someone right up. They didn't show up until the next day when I called the second time. Called front desk about the fireplace. They sent someone right away. Thenice man was there for about 30 minutes and couldn't get it working. So no romantic fire for our anniversary. Room service is very limited and very expensive. There are no prices on the online menu and our first choices from the list were no longer available. Online menu was not updated apparently. So we ordered our second choices instead. That door was cooked to perfection and delicious however was shocked to have a $250.00 bill for 2 entree's, 2 desserts, and 2 cans of soda.
There was a $200 dollar non refundable pet cleaning fee for our dog to.stay with us, however their pet policy forbids the pets to be anywhere but the room
