This was a work-cation for us, prior to the July 4th holiday. It was just my husband and I, we are in our early thirties with no kids and wanted a little get away before having a real vacation up in Amelia Island. It was so nice to work all day then hop in the pool/ocean then make or find dinner. We are typically Ritz Carlton type of folks, but Gulf Strand served our purposes for this work-cation very well. Spacious condos with great internet, exactly what we needed.
Cleaning - was as expected for a condo resort. We had a few crumbs in a kitchen appliance, but that's about it. Given how quickly they need to flip large condos, no complaints here.
The space - The condo was very well appointed. The king bed was comfy and we loved having two bathrooms. It was just my husband and I, and we only have one bathroom at home so this was a treat. We were in #307.
The view - I have seen the view brought up in online reviews, you need to understand that this is a small complex and about 95% of the condos have the same view of the parking lot for beach access. If you turn your head, yes you can see the beach, just a sliver. I'm sure you can purchase beach front, those condos seemed to be very large, but if you don't purchase this don't expect a 'view.'
Beach and pool - Pool was small and hot tub was hot, both as expected. The beach out front was lovely. It was almost bathtub like, so it was nice to have a refreshing pool! Our condo had two beach chairs and a few noodles.
