I recognize that this hotel was less expensive than others in the area so I wasn’t expecting anything super nice, but I do feel like Marriott hotels are usually held to a better standard than this one. The staff were very friendly, no complaints there. But this hotel has 2 elevators and they are completely insufficient for the number of rooms there are. At one point, one wasn’t working and it was taking around 10 minutes to get on an elevator that wasn’t full. I’m fine with stairs but the stairwell closest to us did not exit on to level one indoors but rather went straight outside so that wasn’t even a great option. The room was a bit shabby and everything felt like it was on the verge of breaking (e.g the door on the dishwasher took several attempts before it would stay closed, etc). I had a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch that was supposed to sleep 6 people. But there were only enough towels, plates and cups for 4 people. Of course, the staff was accommodating and got me some extra towels and an extra blanket but we had to deal with the insufficient kitchenware. If it sleeps 6, there should be enough for 6.
As positives, it is close to Disneyland and taking an Uber back and forth was very easy and inexpensive (we also drove and parked one day but that took a bit longer). My kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast area seemed to stay stocked with food to keep up with the rush which was probably thanks to hardworking staff.
