We stayed here the Sunday night prior to the 4/8/24 eclipse, and we got the last room available.
Pros:
- functioning heat and refrigerator
- easy to get to
- close to Walmart and restaurants
Cons:
- everything seemed old or worn out… towels looked dingy and were threadbare
- creaky and bouncy beds
- only two towels on a double-queen room
- no separation between bathroom and sleeping area
- breakfast was frozen pancakes you can reheat or sugary cereals (no eggs, breakfast meat, dairy, etc.)
We don’t typically stay at 2-star hotels, so I don’t have much to compare to. It was fine for crashing for the night and I’d stay there if I had to, but I’d stay elsewhere if I could.
