This is the sixth time I stayed at Hotel Royal. I hadn’t been there since the pandemic so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it lived up to its previous expectations. If you need a fridge, call ahead and ask for it before they place you in a room. Other than that, the housekeepers come a little bit early for being in the quarter. Hotel room was very clean, we got towels when we needed them, there’s ice machine to keep stuff cold. They use a digital key system, but you can get a fob by request, but if you lose it, it’s $50.
