Stayed for two nights over the Bank Holiday. I wasn't sure what to expect as have never stayed at a Best Western before, but was very pleased. Staff were friendly, and efficient. I rang a few days before to request a ground-floor room as there is no lift and I can't manage stairs well, and there was a problem with the system, but the staff member assured me she would see to it and ring me back to confirm in 10 minutes, which they did, rather than leave me on the line - thank you. Room was clean and comfortable. A little small (I was an a re-enactment for the weekend and had a lot of stuff with me, so it was a bit tight) but a luggage rack was provided which was very useful. No problems at all. I thought it might be noisy, being on a service area, but it wasn't too bad - a few doors banging in the night, and I chose not to open the window in case of noise from outside so was a little hot, but that is all. Only thing I would raise is a bit of a smell of drains in the bathroom, but nothing serious. Will definitely be staying again.
