Lovely property and rooms. Beautiful view of the lake. Easy walking to restaurants.
It was a mixed bag as far as customer service. The hotel staff were lovely and able to accommodate my extra needs.
However, the service at the restaurant The Oaks, that is a part of the resort, was seriously lacking. Food was fine, at best, and was on the expensive side. Cocktails, not great. They seemed understaffed for breakfast and didn't greet anyone at the door which left me and others awkwardly waiting, unsure of what to do.
Overall, it was a fine stay. Seems perfect if you plan to stay with a group and utilize the nearby marina and lake. However, if you are just staying in the hotel for a night or two, or traveling alone, it seems too expensive for the experience and quality of stay.
