We needed a one night stay for our family of 5, and finding a hotel with a suite option was not easy. I should have known that things weren’t going to be great when I tried to book directly through the hotel, as I am a Marriott rewards member. The price to book direct with Marriott was significantly more than booking through a 3rd party.
Anyways, check in was seamless and the lobby and bar area were nice. We door dashed food for dinner and had plenty of space to eat at one of the open tables in the lobby. When we got to our room, we were disappointed. Again, we are a family of 5 and have at least 5 electronic devices that needed charged. Outlet options were scarce, as the outlet at the desk area was broken. The outlet next to the couch was loose and anything plugged into that would fall out with any little movement. The night stand between the 2 beds had nothing, no alarm clock or options for charging except an outlet behind the bedside table that we had to move. The only other outlet was at the sink area.
The bathroom was disgusting. Multiple chipped areas on the tub, the tub drained slow, and there were bubbles in the standing tub water before I even used any soap.
The bar had a good happy hour with $25 buckets of beer and you could mix and match. The pool was not heated, so our kids did not swim in it. Parking was not an issue, but it was $20 for the night in a surface lot.
