This was a convienient halfway point for our travels. We also had our 2 emotional support dogs with us. This hotel gave us no issues regarding our dogs, and the pet room we stayed in both times was very nice, clean and accomodating, as they were on the first floor near the back door. Both times we stayed on this trip, my daughter and I went to have breakfast in the morning. Both times the food was good, it all was hot and fresh, and the crocks were full! We were also met by the owner, who came in often to check on the food, and was a wonderful conversationalist! He was very forthcoming, very polite, and never once was rude. That is very refreshing as one travels accross country hoping to run into good people like him! Because of that experience alone, I didn't hesitate to rebook a room there for our trip back home a week later! During our second stay the bathroom fan made a squeeky noise, which I told him about. He said he would take care of it right away, and thanked me for letting him know. From now on when we take a trip to Colorado, that will be our stop for the night! Being in the hospitality industry myself in the past, the owner and the staff that we met at this hotel, are exactly what we want to come in contact with when we are traveling many miles! I would like to add that there are many poeple out there who just want to complain and cause problems with a hotel or it's staff. So be aware of that when reading any neg reviews about this place! I have NONE! Thank You!
