Check in was an unpleasant experience. We booked online, 3 separate rooms, one being handicap accessible. We had a tire blow out and sat on the side of the road for hours before being able yo get help. Thus, checking in close yo midnight. The staff member was not knowledgeable (although polite and apologetic) and had to call another employee come help her. That employee belittled the untrained person basically telling her that she was stupid for not understanding how to do the check in process. Instead of showing her and helping, she continued to throw insults and embarrass the new employee through the process with me standing right there. She was on the verge of tears! It was very unprofessional and made me, the guest, feel awkward and sorry for all the trouble.
Once I finally got into my room (after having to get keys remade twice), I came to find that the bathroom in my room was unclean. On the floor was clusters of hair and the previous guests pen. The toilet was dirty and looked as if it had been used for a few weeks since it’s last cleaning. The beds were freshly clean and made and there was new clean towels. It just seemed the toilet and bathroom floor were missed. At this point it’s around midnight and I’ve already caused a fuss checking in that I’m fearful to ask for a new CLEAN room. Instead, I used the bathroom in my parents room down the hall. I don’t want to stay here again and can not give it a good review, very disappointed.
