Nice place to stay, should check AC unit beforehan
No problems with check-in. Although it would have been nice to know there was going to be a $250 credit card hold before arrival. I feel like hotels.com should have that listed somewhere on the booking page. The rooms/bathroom/kitchen were clean. The beds were comfortable. We only stayed 2 nights and arrived very late the first night and did not see the need to adjust the room temperature. We felt comfortable. The next day (afternoon) we noticed the room was warm. And the AC didn’t seem to be working. We had dinner reservations so we were unable to address the situation at that moment. Upon returning after dinner we made the call to the front desk. Within 10 minutes a maintenance man was there assessing the situation. He took about 30 min total and said it appeared the unit was not working and possibly there was a Freon leak. He said we could call down and see about getting another room. By that time it was 9:30pm and we had an early departure the next morning so we decided to stay and endure the warmer temperatures. If it had been any warmer outside we would have not been able to stay. We feel the AC was broken upon our arrival and because we arrived so late on night 1 we didn’t notice it. It’s important both Wyndham and Hotels.com are aware of our inconvenience and discomfort on that second/final night. Other thank that it, overall it was a nice stay.
