Parking lots fill up fast and theres a short walk. Place needs more parking and more golf carts taking residents to hotel, especially in 90 degree weather. The small man made beach beach next to the pool is great for photos, but the water itself was nasty with a lot of grounded seaweed, the sand was so rough it hurt the bottom of my feet. Water shoes are definitely recommended. The room key bracelet of one of the couples who traveled with us did not work the first three times upon arrival, and when it finally did, they had given them a room that already had people in it! The staff around the pool seemed unmotivated. The drinks by the pool were premixed and tasted low quality, drinks at bar by the restaurant however were better. All food we had at pool, mini market, and restaurant was excellent! I would return for the food alone. The adult pool closed at 12pm the one day we spent all day at the pool, due to a wedding. I really wish they would have informed us of this, as we would have rebooked for another weekend. There were too many kids splashing water on and around us, on one occasion, the pool water landed in my beverage! The location is decent compared to most places in the keys. The carpets in the hallways of the rooms were disgustingly stained. The nearest exit to out room on the first floor smelled like sewage. Eww, need to get this issue handled, and one of the guest elevators was down.
