The hotel didn’t offer or say that when we stayed on a 2day overnight we wouldn’t recover new towels or sheets or a clean room. I did not see it anywhere in the policy where I need to express that I wanted my room cleaned and fresh linens and towels. When I asked the front desk staff he told me HE had one sheet and one towel. My room was for 2. Also when asked why my room wasn’t cleaned he said I was supposed to tell them that I wanted it cleaned. We were in town from Indianapolis, IN, there for a youth football tournament. We were a predominately black American group, parents and coaches. During breakfast both days, the lady serving the food was VERY RUDE to the children and to the parents. Not listening to our questions, not excusing herself when trying to get around people and children. Very rude noises and eye rolls and looks of disgust to have to serve our group of people. Overall she was rude to all of us. The front desk staff however gave our lighter skinned guests with us towels and extra sheets upon request and had their room cleaned and she affirms that she DID not have to ask for it to be cleaned. Very disappointed with the service. Will not be recommending or going back. Also, unsafe that the pool entrance is right in front of the only hotel elevator and is a wet hazard for ALL GUESTS. So many accidents and slips that I saw just the two days I was there.
