On the day of my arrival I came to hotel after 10 pm due to flight delay and there were two employees in the reception doing some some sort of daily inventory, there was nobody in the lobby other than myself, I had to wait 15 minutes for them to finish their task, even though I was exhausted. Neither one apologized for the delay.
Breakfast was a joke, I had an expensive room with private balcony (only third floor had those) I paid for two people, so we both got free daily breakfast.
Day two breakfast was alright other than a charged for two bottles of water for $80 pesos, funny fact, none of the waters were in the receipt. You would think that by now Mexico and their employees would know that Americans can't not drink their tap water because we get sick, I mentioned the cost of bottles, because every day in my room I got two free bottles and never got charged on four out of five days my room was cleaned by a wonderful employee named Connie, and on our third morning my roommate was no able to make it downstairs for breakfast so I asked if I could get mine and the other one to take with me upstairs, then the SERVER (ponytail guy), had the courage to tell me NO, even though the tickeck said breakfast for two. Then when I challenged him and asked the reasons why, he disappeared the whole time I was there and focused his attention to his other tables. I only got ONE visit from him when I was eating. I ran out of juice, thank God I brought my own bottle of water.
