It's a great location, being about a 20 minute walk from the Old City. But, the hotel lacked the niceties that I've found at other places. We had to ask to have additional shampoo, soap, etc, and the items were left hanging in a bag on our door. The beds were made in a short-sheeted style, which was annoying. There wasn't coffee or water available in the lobby, as we had in our hotel in Tel Aviv. On the plus side, the breakfast was delicious, although the service was not good. The hotel staff ranged from horrible to phenomenal (one young man who went the extra mile for us.) The pool is big and is good for swimming laps if that's important to you. I would not call this place a "Boutique Hotel." Granted, it's not the US, I realize, but we stayed in a more modest, less expensive hotel in Tel Aviv that had many more "bells and whistles" than this place.
