On the plus side, it is conveniently located, not far from city but far enough to enjoy the ocean without crowds.
The room is the most renovated part of the hotel that is nicely furnished and is spacious enough with a separate area with a large roll away couch for kids even though not very comfy to sleep on. There is no lock in the bathroom what is kind of uncomfortable.
The head lamp in the bathroom was broken, the picture on top of the bed is covered with a layer of dust that seems like it has never been cleaned. A few tiles in the bathroom are chipped but overall it is nice with a scenic direct ocean view.
Ocean 2000 restaurant has my very good rating. Great seatting area both inside and out with a relaxing ocean view, adequate food, good service.
As for the service in general, we arrived at about 3 pm and instead of early check-in even though not guaranteed but expected for VIP service, we were checked-in and after multiple insistence at 4:30 pm and the explanation was that check in just starts at 4 and lasts till Midnight… further on we were given a different room than we booked and after involving supervisor she managed to find us a right room we were said that it was fully booked (even though there were rooms available in expedia).
Lobby is outdated with mold on air condition, dust, rusted box with missing letters for key return, elevators that have a sign in them that new are in the future, etc....
for 250$ a might it might be good but for 750 you may do better.
