I booked into this Hotel for 1 night only, as I was in Transit.
On Check in, I'd forgotten that I had the remains of a Chilli Con Carne & rice in my luggage, that I'd knocked up at my previous apartment. The chef of the Hotel kindly reheated it for me, however when I ordered a pint of Moretti from the Hotel Bar, I was quite astounded to be charged an eye watering 9.25 Euros for the pint!
On check out I was very surprised to be charged 7.50 for car parking for the previous night. It's common place for large Hotels both in the Netherlands & the UK to charge for parking, Vlaardingen however is a Rotterdam suburb & it's direct competitor in the same price range the nearby Bastion Hotel certainly doesn't charge for parking, so for that reason, I don't plan on using the Hotel again in the future unless everywhere else i know in Vlaardingen is full.
