Checked in. Told me I reserved the wrong room. Apparently it was a room with wheelchair access. They asked if I could take a room with one bed, and I said no, bc I have 3 people. I said I just picked a 2 bed, didn’t realize it was a special room. Now, it is 10 pm at night when we’re checking in. Asks me if I have something that proves I have a disability. At this point, I’m like what? I just told you I just picked a room with 2 beds. Acted like he no other rooms. I was like it’s almost 1030, let’s just do this. He reluctantly lets us keep the room.
Get to the room and my son goes into the bathroom only to be standing in straight standing water with a continuous pour of water coming out of the vent. Look in the bathtub, it’s plugged and has water in it for who knows how long. My mom lets them know. They come and look and obviously can’t fix, so she said we had to move room and magically they have a room with a double bed that’s not wheel chair accessible. Then why not offer that room to begin with and not give me a hard time at check in. Be better at customer service. Hotel has been renovated. My new room was not all the way done. It’s like they did everything but the bathroom and the bathroom looked old.
Next morning they definitely weren’t prepared to serve breakfast to everyone that was there. Same 2 people working. Guessing the owners in sweats and looking disheveled and then asked me to leave a review. Sure. Do better.
