Second time not like the first
My room was clean and the cleaning crew was great. I was here for over two weeks so I would leave them a note of different items I needed but I didn't need regular cleans, but they often did it anyway. Super nice. The only issue on cleanliness was that there was a sucker on the floor at the rear hotel entrance for over a week. Finally someone picked it up and put it on the wall heater, where it is likely to stay for months as it blends into the wall.
I have stayed here before and it was great but this time not so much. I booked a courtyard room and did not get that. My coffee pot wouldn't work and neither did the new one. Maintenance came got it to work but the pod blew up in it and they left it for me to clean, (in maintenance defense, I don't think he realized it blew up in the coffee pot) when I did clean the coffee pot, it still didn't work. Finally the second new one did work.
Last time I stayed they had smart TV's so I could sign into my netflix, but this room did not so bring a computer and a HDMI cord if you want access to movies. When I first arrived all my channels worked but on election night CNN stopped working and it was never fixed and 10 days later it was still not working.
Breakfast at this hotel is the best in town for a continental but they changed some things and they no longer offer shredded cheese and peppers to add to the eggs, which actually made a big difference. The staff in the restaurant and the hotel cleaning staff are really great.
