Pros: Front desk service is good.
Rooms and bedding are clean and comfortable.
Bathroom has a warm bidet and nice lighting.
View is pretty nice from the higher floors.
Security is pretty solid after hours.
Restaurant in hotel - we didn't try it but the food looked good.
Starbucks and other amenities like pharmacies within walking distance.
Pro and Con: The gym is within the pool room (separate, enclosed area). Looked like a decent variety of equipment for a smaller gym.
Cons: Pay to park underground, 25 bucks a day.
Only 2 pillows on each bed (could be a personal preference but most places have 3-4 now).
Location isn't the greatest (downtown across from a gentleman's club - which was very quiet during our early week stay) but is acceptable.
The biggest con, which was very surprising, was the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed them both for about an hour. It's a bit dated and definitely needs some maintenance work (the "tiles" look like thick linoleum and was lifting near the edges of the pool, old paint, etc.), looks really nice at first glance. But as we were sitting in the chairs drying off, my daughter noticed what looked like a bunch of tiny fruit fly type of flying bugs swarming the drains in the floor. It was shocking and rather disturbing. I can't attach photos for some reason, but I do have pictures and a video. If I can edit later, I will add them.
