This property is a renovated Staybridge Suites. They did as good of a job of giving it a Margaritaville feel as they could do within that context. The room was clean but still felt outdated despite the renovations. We were on the first floor and the curtains in the room do not fully cover the windows, so we had to rig them up in order to give us privacy from people in the parking lot. The air conditioner is one of the old school wall units rather than it being central air, due to the age of the structure. We woke up to the large plastic cover of the unit crashing off the wall and to the floor. Breakfast in the morning was decent for a hotel breakfast but not great. The pool area, like the rest of the hotel, but good for what it was. Smaller pool with no hot tub, but they gave the area as much of a Margaritaville feel as possible. Overall, for a much lower price point it would’ve been fine, but they’re charging a premium for the name. I’m not upset overall with the stay but I wouldn’t stay there again either.
