My recent stay at Days Inn &Suites by Wyndham at Sulphur Springs this week
was an absolute nightmare, leaving me with a deep sense of frustration and disappointment. This hotel not only failed to live up to its promises but also displayed a complete lack of regard for guest comfort and privacy. Here are the key issues I encountered:
1. Renovation Chaos: The fact that the hotel was undergoing renovation should have been communicated to guests prior to their arrival. The hotel should have temporarily closed or at least informed guests about the inconvenience they were about to face.
2. Double Booking Disaster: To make matters worse, while my wife and I were sleeping, another guest was mistakenly given access to our room. This shocking invasion of privacy is completely unacceptable. It is not only a breach of security but also puts the safety and well-being of guests at risk. The hotel's negligence in double booking rooms is inexcusable and highly unprofessional.
3. False Advertising: The hotel had advertised a complimentary breakfast as part of their amenities. However, to our dismay, no breakfast was served during our entire stay. This false advertising is not only misleading but also demonstrates a lack of integrity on the part of the hotel management.
