I stayed at this property once before and slept with the lights on for fear of cockroaches crawling all over me in my sleep. It was very dirty, rundown, half the lightbulbs didn't work, and there was mold in the shower, as well as a terrible paint/caulk job, and there was a large gap under the room door to the outside more than an inch tall to let light, bugs, and who knows what else inside. The breakfast was a couple of bars and juice/coffee. Very sad. So I booked again, not realizing it was the same hotel. As soon as I figured it out I called to cancel, they barely took my name and then hung up quickly. I assumed it was taken care of and I booked a different hotel. I just returned and found the expedia feedback form in my inbox asking how my stay was. That was odd. I checked and realized I'd never been refunded the money. I spoke with expedia who said they would speak with the hotel and the hotel refused to refund the money or do anything about it. I never showed up or checked into the hotel as I thought it was cancelled. Someone didn't follow through on this and now I'm charged for 2 full nights at a hotel I never set foot in. I'm very disappointed by how this has been handled.
